FAQ

The first session is about getting to know each other and an opportunity for you to express your concerns and current issues. It’s also an opportunity to ask me questions and gain context of the work we will do together in therapy.
Think of it as an information gathering session for both parties, allowing us to discuss some of your personal history enabling you to familiarise yourself with the counselling process. It will also assist you in deciding if we’re a good fit to work together.

Therapy is a process that is different for everyone. In the beginning, we will discuss what you are hoping to get out of it. As we continue to work together, what you need or want may change. I will check in periodically throughout our therapeutic journey to make sure your therapy is rewarding and meeting your goals.

Cancellations
To maintain consistency and respect for all clients and my time, I require at least 24hrs notice to cancel your scheduled appointment.
I understand on occasions this may not be possible.
You will receive an SMS reminder and therefore a full cancellation fee will apply if the cancellation is after the 24hrs notice period.
As I am a sole business operator, this allows me time to contact other clients who are on my waitlist to organise their environment to have an opportunity to attend a session.
