Testimonials
After numerous unsuccessful attempts in the past to find a Counsellor, I felt comfortable with or trust, I was very reluctant to try again. That was until I met Allison.
Allison is amazing!! From the first session there was something about her that allowed me to feel at ease and as our relationship grew, I was able to open up and work through things that I had kept locked up for most of my life.
After working with Allison over the course of a couple of years, she has been pivotal in helping me get to where I am today by being supportive, nurturing pushing me to challenge my beliefs. Today, the things that once held me back don’t seem so catastrophic, I have more confidence and self-belief, I am able to be more empathic with others and challenging myself to do things the old me wouldn’t have even attempted because I didn’t believe I was good enough or capable of doing.
I will forever be grateful for Allison, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Having been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult bought with it so many emotions. Relief, anger, disappointment, and anxiety. Allison, you were able to provide me with the comfort that everything was going to be okay, whilst navigating me through my emotions in a safe space. This has allowed me to gain a greater understanding and awareness of who I am and how to be in a relationship.
My wife and I are grateful for the future that we can see now.

Allison, I just wanted to thank you for what felt like you ‘holding my hands’ through my journey of life’s transitions, predominately with my health and wellbeing but also with my husband and children.
It’s not an easy time and sometimes you just feel you are going crazy. Thank you for normalising some of my feelings and allowing me to settle into the next stages of my life. We are a far more harmonious and happy home and couple. But more importantly I feel settled, calm, and aware.

For the past two years, Allison has provided me with nothing short of unparalleled support, hope and mentoring, that has clearly been the most significant help to me during a difficult time in my life. Following a heartbreaking sudden separation in my marriage, plus a three-month-old daughter, then leading to a subsequent divorce, I have felt I have never had to do it alone. She has been walking with me on this journey every step of the way, helping me to understand and accept this emotional and grieving process. She has challenged me to negotiate changes and identify options to implement them. Her enduring approach, incredible patience and perseverance, her caring and compassionate manner, has undoubtedly been the steady guiding platform that has upheld and encouraged me to improved strengths. Allison is a genuine, wonderful, and professional person, that I recommend unconditionally.

My grief and pain were so overwhelming, that I never thought it would pass or even be able to function again. Your ability to walk with me through this time has been so gentle, understanding, non-judgemental and empowering. Thank you, Allison.

I thought we were too old to be coming to therapy, however you have shown me how I should've been a husband. We are grateful Allison. Never too old to learn.

Thank you, Allison, for stopping the merry-go-round of arguments and misunderstandings. Now we communicate and it’s so refreshing.
